I call out to the dark ether, to the womb of the Mother – Mother Darkness. I present myself as Her vessel so that Her messages may come through in their truest form, to guide the collective that gathers here.
Cards are in order for tonight’s collective reading.
I’ve pulled 3 cards from my Urban Crow Oracle deck – Scavenge 44, Curiosity 11, and Grief 22 – all double-numbered cards.
Each of these speaks to something that the Darkness, the Divine Feminine, gives to us.
She gives us the false illusion of lack. We can never experience a true lack, since real lack has never existed. But she gives us a need, a desire, a push for more, to better ourselves, to grow. The light on its own doesn’t do that, because it is the I Am, the fulfillment, the accomplishment, and it has everything already. It has no need to desire, change, or grow. It has already fulfilled its purpose in life without ever doing anything; it has already followed its calling without even hearing the voice. Without a perceived lack, we would be totally stagnant beings with nothing to offer and nothing to gain.
She gives us Curiosity. The Light knows everything. It can never learn a new thing. It is totally conscious of everything in existence. I’m remembering that line from the Matrix that Trinity says: ‘It’s the question that drives us, Neo.’ The Light has never needed to ask a question; it has never wanted an answer. It already has them all. And so it is ironic that we go to the Light for our ambition, for our drive and determination, to be purpose-driven and action-oriented, and its energy does give us that. But without the Darkness, without ‘the question’, it would never have a reason to use its energy to succeed or manifest.
She gives us Grief. This is part of the release process. Sometimes we are saddened by the transformation of death, but it is by letting go that we make way for new things in our lives.
So tonight, Mother Darkness asks you: What can you release? What can you surrender? What can you let go?
It is by letting go, one of her processes, that we make way for the expansion of the Light.
This message was short and to the point, and that is all She has for us tonight.
